Mercy St. Francis Hospital Hosts Community Education Program

Did you know the American Cancer Society (ACS) has been fighting cancer for more than a century?

In a partnership with the voluntary health organization, Mercy St. Francis Hospital will be hosting an educational program about the ACS on Wednesday, May 7.

Whitney Morelock, Relay for Life specialist, will present “American Cancer Society Can Help.” Topics of the presentation include: what the American Cancer Society is, cancer prevention and what the organization can do for your community. 

The free program begins at 1:30 p.m. in the hospital dining room at Mercy St. Francis Hospital, located at 100 U.S. 60. It’s open to anyone. Call 417-934-7000 for more information.
