All three Mercy Clinic locations in Southeast Kansas announce dates and times for middle school and high school sports physicals.

Mercy Clinic Family Medicine Arma will offer $10 sports physicals on Tuesday, May 13 from 1 - 4 p.m. at Northeast High School. No appointment is necessary. Proceeds are donated to Northeast Booster Club and NEYF.
Mercy Clinic Fort Scott located at 403 Woodland Hills Blvd. will offer $10 sports physicals on Wednesday, May 14 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Proceeds are donated to school activities funds.
The Kansas State High School Activities Association requires students who plan to participate in extracurricular activities to have a current physical on file. Physicals ensure that the student is healthy to participate.
Missouri students are invited to take advantage of the clinic as well.
“It is suggested that the student’s primary care physician perform these types of exams because they are familiar with the student’s family medical history,” said Michelle Bruner, Mercy Clinic director. “This aids in a comprehensive evaluation of the students current medical status.”
Several Mercy Clinic providers are donating time to offer the clinic.
“The physicians and their staff offer this special clinic as a quick and convenient way to ensure the student is healthy to participate in school activities,” added Bruner.
