Dr. Phillip Fuller has returned home to practice with longtime local physician Dr. Glen Diacon at Southern Oklahoma Urology in Ada.
“I left Ada after high school with every intention of returning home to practice urology,” said Fuller. “Working in the surgery department during high school, I was exposed to the healing power of medicine and the ability of surgeons to positively impact the quality of patients’ lives.”
Those experiences and his passion to help people led him to a career as a urologist.
“I’m thankful for the opportunity to come home to Ada and take care of patients,” said Fuller. “I treat each patient as if they were a friend or a family member; it’s easy to do that in your hometown.”
Fuller graduated with a bachelor’s degree in zoology from the University of Oklahoma in Norman. He earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. He completed his internship in general surgery and residency in urology at the University of Missouri College of Medicine, Division of Urology, in Columbus, Missouri.
Fuller and wife, T.K., and their two sons recently moved back to Ada. He enjoys watching his boys play sports, attending church and spending time with his family.
Fuller is accepting new patients at Southern Oklahoma Urology, 1414 Arlington Street, Suite 2300 in Ada. For an appointment, please call (580) 332-0112.
