EL RENO, Okla. – As a child growing up in Ada, Oklahoma, Dr. Jesse Sullivan describes himself as a “sickly kid” who had to see a lot of doctors to treat his asthma. These experiences led him to his professional calling as a family medicine doctor.
Sullivan has practiced medicine in El Reno for about 34 years, but now joins Mercy Clinic at 2315 Parkview Drive, Suite 100, in El Reno.
As a family medicine doctor, Sullivan enjoys working with patients from all age groups and backgrounds.
“I enjoy the small town atmosphere and the ability to develop more of a relationship with my patients,” said Sullivan. “I like knowing people when I go out into the community to a restaurant or even to get my hair cut. My style of care focuses on integrity and honesty. I want my patients to trust me and be able to tell me anything.”
Sullivan received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, and completed his family medicine internship at the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa.
He has been married for 40 years and has two grown daughters. He has his private pilot’s license and recently flew his four-seat private plane to Alaska and Florida. He is also an active member of his church.
