Mercy Clinic in St. Louis Adds New Doctors

ST. LOUIS - Mercy Clinic, the multi-specialty physician group affiliated with Mercy Hospital, recently added new doctors.

Urologists Luis Anglo, MD, and Keith Steinbecker, MD, joined Mercy Clinic Urology. The office recently moved to the David C. Pratt Cancer Center, 607 S. New Ballas Rd., Ste. 3100.

Alison Ball, DO, family medicine physician, joined Mercy Clinic Family Medicine – Technology Drive, located at 2223 Technology Dr., Ste. 40 in O’Fallon, Missouri. Dr. Ball earned her medical degree from A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri, and completed a family medicine residency at Mercy Hospital St. Louis.

Thomas Bayer, MD, internist, joined Mercy Clinic Adult Hospitalists and cares for hospitalized patients at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Dr. Bayer earned his medical degree from State University of New York Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine in Brooklyn, New York. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois.

Joshua M. Behlmann, DO, family medicine physician, joined Mercy Urgent Care centers with locations throughout the St. Louis area. Dr. Behlmann earned his medical degree at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, and completed a family medicine residency at Mercy Hospital St. Louis.

Kathleen Garcia, MD, internal medicine physician, joined Mercy Clinic Palliative Care, located at 621 S. New Ballas Rd, Ste. 6017B. Dr. Garcia earned her medical degree at Harvard Medical School. She completed an internal medicine residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Craig Karpman, MD, pulmonologist and critical care physician, joined Mercy Clinic Pulmonology, located at 621 S. New Ballas Rd, Ste. 228A in St. Louis. Dr. Karpman earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine – Columbia in Columbia, Missouri. He completed an internal medicine residency along with pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Mayo Clinic.

Jeffrey McCollum, MD, family medicine physician, joined Mercy Urgent Care centers with locations throughout the St. Louis area. Dr. McCollum earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri, and completed a family medicine residency at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois.

Lekshmi Misra, MD, internist, joined Mercy Clinic Adult Hospitalists and cares for hospitalized patients at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Dr. Misra earned her medical degree from the Amrita School of Medicine in Kochi, India, and completed an internal medicine residency at St. Mary’s Health Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

Justin Newstadt, MD, pediatrician, joined Mercy Children’s Hospitalists and provides care for hospitalized patients at Mercy Children’s Hospital. Dr. Newstadt earned his medical degree at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky. He completed a pediatric residency at St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Jason Y. Rhee, MD, trauma surgeon, joined Mercy Clinic Trauma and General Surgery, located at 621 S. New Ballas Rd, Ste. 560A in St. Louis. Dr. Rhee earned his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. He completed a general surgery residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts and a surgical critical care fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.

Bhavani Tummala, MD, internist, joined Mercy Clinic Adult Hospitalists and cares for hospitalized patients at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Dr. Tummala earned her medical degree from Katuri Medical College in Guntur, India, and completed an internal medicine residency at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, Philadelphia.

Jennifer York, MD, pediatric critical care physician, joined Mercy Clinic Children’s Critical Care and cares for patients hospitalized in the pediatric intensive care unit at Mercy Children’s Hospital. Dr. York earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, and completed a pediatric residency and pediatric critical care fellowship at Saint Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
