Mercy Clinic Pulmonology welcomes Dr. Anas Alsadi, a new pulmonologist who is accepting new patients.
As a pulmonologist, Alsadi specializes in treating disorders related to the lungs and respiratory system. He analyzes diagnostic tests, researches symptoms and administers appropriate treatments. Pulmonologists are skilled in helping patients with chronic conditions, such as asthma, as well as acute complications of respiratory failure.
“Being a physician satisfies my intellectual curiosity by allowing me to use science to fulfill my passion, which is helping people,” said Alsadi. “The specialty of pulmonology is challenging and allows me to work with some of the most complex and vital organs in the human body.”
Alsadi earned his medical degree at King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, and completed his internal medicine residency at Brown University in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. He completed his fellowship in pulmonology and critical care at Texas A&M Health Center in Temple, Texas.
Alsadi moved with his wife, Hanan, and their two daughters to Ada from Temple, Texas. In his spare time, he likes to maintain an active lifestyle by running and playing soccer.
