Dr. Audra Cook, a board-certified family medicine provider, has joined Mercy Clinic Primary Care Ada located at 201 N. Monte Vista, where she will see patients with a variety of needs, including preventive care, injuries, illnesses and ongoing health management.
Cook is devoted to educating her patients and demonstrating compassionate care.
“At a young age it was evident that I had a passion for two things: science and helping people,” said Cook. “Being a physician blends my passions into a wonderful career. I believe practicing medicine is a calling and I’m blessed every day by doing the work I was called to do.”
Cook received her bachelor’s degree in zoology from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. She earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and completed her residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She also completed the Physician Leadership Academy at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma.
Cook joins Mercy Clinic after spending the last six and a half years practicing family medicine in Moore, Oklahoma. Prior to her time in Moore, Cook spent two and a half years practicing in Duncan, Oklahoma. Cook’s husband, Clint, and their three sons, joined her on the move to Ada. She believes being a wife and mother enhances her ability to practice medicine and care for others.
Cook will practice in a new Mercy Clinic location, Mercy Clinic Primary Care Ada, located at 201 N. Monte Vista. To make an appointment with Dr. Cook, please call (580) 453-3156.
