OKLAHOMA CITY – Heather Aycock, a family nurse practitioner, joins Mercy Clinic’s primary care office on Northwest Expressway.
Aycock has previous experience working in family medicine, critical care, emergency medicine and nursing education. She is passionate about providing quality health care to families with a special focus on preventive medicine.
“I enjoy helping families maintain their health and returning to wellness during times of illness,” said Aycock. She believes it is important to teach patients and be partners in their health.
Aycock received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma, and her Master of Science in Nursing degree, family nurse practitioner concentration, from Graceland University in Independence, Missouri.
Aycock works at the Mercy Clinic located at 8325 NW Expressway in Oklahoma City, along with Dr. Steven Hopkins and Dr. Erin Allen. She has special interest in wellness exams, women’s health and pediatrics. She accepts most insurance plans, including SoonerCare for patients under age 18.
