EDMOND, Okla. – Dr. Sylvia S. Gray believes in the importance of having a doctor who takes time to listen, discuss options and is a proponent for patients.
As a surgeon specializing in hand, plastic and reconstructive surgery, Gray practices medicine with that perspective in mind every day.
“As a physician, I want to be an advocate for my patients and provide unsurpassed surgical care,” said Gray. “I am excited to bring my specialized training in hand and wrist surgery, as well as plastic surgery, to the community for adults and children.”
Gray received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston. She completed her plastic and reconstructive surgical residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and her orthopedic hand surgery fellowship from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.
Originally from Lexington, Kentucky, Gray recently moved to Oklahoma with her husband and two sons from Miami. In her spare time, she loves to travel, swim, run and hike with her family. She is passionate about global health and has gone on many mission trips to perform operations, including Ecuador, Zambia and China.
