ST. LOUIS - Mercy Clinic, the multi-specialty physician group affiliated with Mercy Hospital and Mercy Children’s Hospital, recently added new doctors and new satellite offices.
Ernesto Negron, MD, internist, joined Mercy Clinic Adult Hospitalists-Washington and will provide care to patients hospitalized at Mercy Hospital Washington. Dr. Negron earned his medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Damas Hospital Teaching Consortium in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
Erin Piontek, MD, family medicine physician, joined Mercy Clinic Family Medicine-Ronnie’s Plaza, 10 Ronnie’s Plaza. She earned her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed a family medicine residency at the University of Missouri Health Sciences Center in Columbia, Missouri.
Francisco Garcia-Ferrer, MD, ophthalmologist, established a new practice Mercy Clinic Eye Specialists, with two locations - 621 S. New Ballas Rd., Ste. 1001B, at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur and 34 Hampton Village Plaza in Saint Louis. Dr. Garcia-Ferrer earned his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine and completed an ophthalmology residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He also completed a cornea, external disease and refractive surgery fellowship at the University of California School of Medicine in Sacramento, California.

Dr. Robinson-Mitchell earned her medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois, and completed an internal medicine residency at Saint Louis University Hospital.
Hyemi Chong, MD, internist, joined Mercy Clinic Adult Hospitalists and will provide care to patients hospitalized at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Dr. Chong earned her medical degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, and completed an internal medicine residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
Mercy Kids Mid Rivers, located at 4635 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., in Cottleville, opened several new specialty satellite offices including Mercy Clinic Kids GI, Mercy Clinic Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Mercy Clinic Child Neurology and Mercy Clinic Asthma & Immunology.
Mercy Clinic Sports Medicine opened at new location at 633 Emerson Road, Ste. 20, in Creve Coeur. Therapy and related services will be provided in an adjacent hospital outpatient department.
