Mercy Hospital Lebanon’s new leader takes the helm on Monday, and one of his first priorities is to get to know his new community.
David Steinmann assumes the role of hospital administrator on June 1. Later in the week, on June 5, the hospital will hold a community-wide welcome reception for Steinmann and his family.
“I’m extremely excited to be a part of the outstanding Mercy Hospital Lebanon team,” said Steinmann. “My wife Kim, our son Quentin and daughter Rachel are equally excited to become part of this great community.”
Steinmann brings 25 years of health care experience to his new role, 20 of which have been with other Mercy facilities. He began his health care career as a respiratory therapist, later holding a variety of leadership positions at Mercy’s hospitals in Aurora and Cassville, Missouri. For the past two years, Steinmann has served as president of Mercy in Independence, Kansas, with responsibilities for both hospital and clinic operations.
Co-workers, community members and media are invited to meet Steinmann at the following event:
There will be refreshments and the opportunity to speak directly with Steinmann and his family.
