Health Foundation Ada will host its 11th annual Charity Casino Night and Golf Classic fundraiser on Friday, Aug. 14, and Saturday, Aug. 15, at Oak Hills Golf and Country Club to support Mercy Hospital Ada.
The weekend’s festivities will begin with a casino night presented by McCortney Family In-Home Care and Hospice in the Oak Hills Banquet Room on Friday, Aug. 14 at 7 p.m. Professional dealers will host tables featuring Las Vegas style Texas Hold’em, blackjack and craps. Tickets to the charity casino night are $30 and include playing chips, drinks and appetizers. Various prizes will be awarded at the end of the evening.
“We’re going to have a great weekend full of fun with all the proceeds going directly to local health care,” said Chad King, Mercy Health Foundation board chairman. “We’re pleased to be continuing both the golf classic and casino night, and we’re excited about the new format with the casino night on Friday night.”
On Saturday, Aug. 15, golfers will tee off at 8:30 a.m. Hole-in-one prizes will be sponsored by Mid America Auto Group on four different holes, and will include a new Chevy vehicle on Hole 9. The $150 per person registration fee covers greens fees for 18 holes of golf at Oak Hills Country Club, a golf cart, snacks, drinks, goodie bags with Pro V1 golf balls and lunch at the club house. The top three teams will walk away with WinStar Golf Academy packages, valued at more than $100.
“Each year, we experience even more success with this fundraising weekend than the years before,” said Todd Essary, director of Mercy Health Foundation Ada. “That is a testament to the ongoing support for Mercy from our community. We’re grateful for the support we receive for local health care services.”
