New Physicians and Practices Join Mercy Clinic

ST. LOUIS - Mercy Clinic, the multi-specialty physician group affiliated with Mercy Hospital and Mercy Children’s Hospital, recently added new doctors and new satellite offices.

New Doctors and Practices in St. Louis
Yuval Asner, MD, pediatric psychiatrist, joined Mercy Clinic Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Asner earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. He completed psychiatry along with child and adolescent psychiatry residencies at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

Kaitlin Poeth Beckman, MD, infectious disease physician, joined Mercy Clinic Infectious Disease,  621 S. New Ballas Rd., Ste 7018B. Dr. Poeth earned her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She completed an internal medicine residency and infectious disease fellowship at Hofstra North Short-Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Manhasset, New York.

Jennifer M. Chung, MD, internist, opened Mercy Clinic Internal Medicine – Old Tesson, at 12348 Old Tesson Rd., Ste. 240. Dr. Chung earned her medical degree from University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia, and completed an internal medicine residency at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and a geriatrics fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine.

Pediatricians Elliott Farberman, MD and Lynn Nelms, MD, opened Mercy Clinic Pediatrics – Hazelwood Suite 140 and also practice at Mercy Clinic Pediatrics - O’Fallon with Heather Joyce, MD and Melissa Rickerson, MD. 

Jennifer M. Heeley, MD, pediatric geneticist, opened Mercy Kids Genetics, 621 S. New Ballas Rd., Ste 281A. Dr. Heeley earned her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine and completed a pediatric residency and pediatric genetics fellowship at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Venkata Kenguva, MD, internist, joined Mercy Clinic Adult Hospitalists – St. Louis and will care for hospitalized patients at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Dr. Kenguva earned his medical degree from Andhra Medical College in Andhra Pradesh, India, and completed an internal medicine residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Ryan L. Kroeger, DO, internist, joined Mercy Clinic Adult Hospitalists – St. Louis and will care for hospitalized patients at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Dr. Kroeger earned his medical degree from A.T. Still University – Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, and completed an internal medicine residency at Mercy Hospital St. Louis.

Daniel M. Maxfield, MD, general surgeon, joined Mercy Clinic Surgical Specialists, 621 S. New Ballas Rd., Ste 7011B. Dr. Maxfield earned his medical degree from University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and completed a general surgery residency at University of Missouri – Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri.

John Moore, MD, anesthesiologist and pain management physician, opened Mercy Clinic Pain Management and will be serving as director of Pain Management at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. The practice is located at 621 S. New Ballas Rd., Ste 140A. Dr. Moore earned his medical degree at Escuela Autonoma de Ciercios Medicos de Centro America, in San Jose, Costa Rica. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at Saint Louis University and his fellowship in pain medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

Robert H. Neumayr, MD, interventional cardiologist, joined Mercy Clinic Heart and Vascular, 625 S. New Ballas Rd., Ste. 2030. He earned his medical degree from University of South Dakota School of Medicine in Vermillion, South Dakota, and completed an internal medicine residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Neumayr also completed a cardiology fellowship at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. 

Aaron Pickrell, MD, internist, joined Mercy Clinic Adult Hospitalists – St. Louis and will treat hospitalized patients at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Dr. Pickrell earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, and completed an internal medicine residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in Bronx, New York. 

Christie Pickrell, MD, emergency medicine physician, joined Mercy Clinic Emergency Department Physicians and cares for patients in the emergency department at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. She earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, and completed an emergency medicine residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Sreelatha Varma, MD, family medicine physician, joined Mercy Urgent Care Center – North County, 637 Dunn Rd., Ste. 101, in Hazelwood. Dr. Varma earned her medical degree from Guntur Medical College in Guntur, India, and completed an internal medicine residency at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

Mark W. Vogel, MD, cardiologist, joined Mercy Clinic Heart and Vascular, 625 S. New Ballas Road, Ste. 2030. Dr. Vogel earned his medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He completed an internal medicine residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and also completed a cardiology fellowship at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

New Doctors and Practices in Washington, Missouri
Jeffrey Brown, DO, cardiologist, joined Mercy Clinic Heart and Vascular – Patients First, 901 Patients First Dr., in Washington. He earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania, and completed an internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Saint Louis University Hospital.

David Brunworth, MD, family medicine physician, joined Mercy Clinic Community Hospitalists – Washington and cares for hospitalized patients at Mercy Hospital Washington.

Eric Cleaton, MD, emergency medicine physician, joined Mercy Clinic Washington Emergency Department Physicians and cares for patients in the emergency department at Mercy Hospital Washington. He earned his medical degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia, and completed an emergency medicine residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

Braden F. DeLoach, DO, internist, joined Mercy Clinic Adult Hospitalists – Washington and cares for hospitalized patients at Mercy Hospital Washington. Dr. DeLoach earned his medical degree from A.T. Still University – Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri and completed an internal medicine residency at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Patricia D. Hinkle, MD, family medicine physician, joined Mercy Clinic Family Medicine and Obstetrics –Grande Center, 1326 S. Service Rd. West, Ste. 10, in Sullivan, Missouri. Dr. Hinkle earned her medical degree from University of Missouri – Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri, and completed a family medicine residency at Virginia Commonwealth in Newport News, Virginia.

Christina N. Linden, MD, anesthesiologist, joined Mercy Clinic Anesthesia – Washington and cares for patients undergoing surgery at Mercy Hospital Washington. Dr. Linden earned her medical degree from University of Missouri – Columbia in Columbia, Missouri, and completed an anesthesiology residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.

Thomas G. Martin, MD, internist and surgeon, joined Mercy Clinic Adult Hospitalists – Washington and cares for hospitalized patients at Mercy Hospital Washington. He earned his medical degree and completed a general surgery residency at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Martin also completed an internal medicine residency at Saint Louis University Hospital.

Sheetal Sharma, MD, gastroenterologist, joined Mercy Clinic Gastroenterology – Patients First, 901 Patients First Dr., in Washington - the office of Carl Blatt, Jr., MD; Sudhanshu Gogia, MD; Khalid Naseer, MD; and Leslie Tucker, MD. He earned his medical degree from Guy’s, King’s and St. Thomas’ School of Medicine in London, England and completed an internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York.

Elizabeth Vanderah, MD, dermatologist, joined Mercy Clinic Dermatology, 901 Patients First Dr., Ste., in Washington. Dr. Vanderah earned her medical degree from University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa. She completed an internal medicine residency and dermatology fellowship at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.
