A new family doctor is now practicing at Mercy Clinic Family Medicine – Aurora. Spencer Naser, MD, is accepting new patients.
Dr. Naser received his medical education from the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City. He completed a family medicine residency at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah.
“I looked across the country, hoping to practice a broad spectrum of medicine, and Mercy just felt right,” Dr. Naser said. “It’s rare to be part of a clinic with close ties to a great health system. Everyone is so welcoming and I’m anxious to start meeting the community, delivering babies and watching them grow.”
Dr. Naser and his wife have three children of their own, ranging in age from 1 to 6 years old. “They’re excited about exploring new things. We have a new yard, new neighbors and very optimistic kids.” Together, they enjoy bike rides, camping and fishing – something they’ll get plenty of in the Ozarks.
Dr. Naser is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. “I’m the only person in my family that’s in medicine,” he said. “They’re all engineers, as am I, but I didn’t want to do that forever. I met a physician who quickly became my role model, and one month into my rotation in family medicine, I knew exactly what I wanted to do!”
Dr. Naser’s office is located at 550 Hudson Avenue. To schedule an appointment, call Mercy Clinic Family Medicine – Aurora at 417-678-5176.
