CRYSTAL CITY, Mo. – Mercy Clinic cut the ribbon on its newest location in Jefferson County, welcoming two new physicians at a grand opening celebration at 8 a.m. Tuesday, August 18, at 1254 Main Street in Imperial.
Troy Dowers, MD, and Tracy Riordan, MD, share the newly remodeled space, providing primary care for patients of all ages. Dr. Dowers began seeing patient in the new office on August 3. Dr. Riordan will have office hours beginning in September.
Dr. Dowers is board certified in Family Medicine. He earned undergraduate degree at Pittsburg State University in Kansas and his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He completed his residency at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Arizona. He previously operated a private practice in Fenton.
Dr. Riordan is board certified in Internal Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. In addition to the Clinic in Imperial, she sees patients in her office on the campus of Mercy Hospital St. Louis on South New Ballas Road.
Both physicians emphasize wellness and preventive medicine with their patients, to manage chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, asthma and heart disease.
