August 25, 2015

Moms-to-be try out the new Dancing for BirthTM class.

ST. LOUIS – Fitness for moms-to-be and new moms is highly recommended to keep mom and baby healthy, but also for a better birth experience. Now a unique, new class at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, Dancing for BirthTM, combines feel-good prenatal fitness, modern birth wisdom and celebration of pregnancy and birth in one.

Dancing for BirthTM supports moms at every stage, from pre-conception to postpartum. Signature moves and techniques are designed to guide baby into the optimal fetal position and enable moms to effectively work with baby and their bodies. Moms will also learn keys to activating birth.

After the baby arrives, moms are encouraged to continue wearing the baby to class for postpartum fitness, mothering wisdom and bonding with baby and other moms.

Dancing for Birth is $36 for a six-week series, meeting once a week on Tuesdays from 9:30 to 11 a.m. The next session begins Tuesday, Sept. 15 going through Oct. 6.

Space is limited so register today by clicking here or call 314-961-2229.
