Mercy Clinic General Surgery Welcomes Two New Doctors

FORT SMITH, Ark. Mercy Clinic General Surgery has moved to a new location and has added two new surgeons. Jonathan Ferrari, MD, and Joshua McElderry, MD, have joined Christopher Coleman, MD and Karla Heard, PA, in a new clinic location at the Mercy Medical Tower.

Dr. Ferrari earned his medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine in the Netherlands-Antilles. He completed his residency in general surgery at Northeast Ohio Medical University Program in June of 2014. Dr. Ferrari also recently finished a fellowship in advanced GI and minimally invasive surgery from the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. 

Dr. McElderry earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He completed his residency in general surgery at Marshfield Clinic in Wisconsin prior to joining Mercy. He is married with five sons, fluent in Estonian and is an avid rock climber and outdoorsman.
