ST. LOUIS - Facing pre-diabetes can be scary, but living a healthy lifestyle now may avoid the problems of diabetes later. Diabetes can cause eye, kidney, heart, and other problems that affect a person’s activities and lead to high medical costs.
 
Pre-diabetes can be confusing. 
  • Will I get diabetes?
  • Will I need insulin later?
  • Do I have to give up my favorite foods or follow a special diet? 

This FREE brief session will answer questions and provide the tools to manage health before problems start. Presenters include Dr. David MosleyRegistered Dietitian Beth McChesney, and Diabetes Nurse Practitioner Anna Schell. They’ll explain diabetes, how it affects health, answer questions and offer tools to manage health before problems start. 

The session is from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 28. at the Mercy Clinic building, 755 Dunn Rd., Suite 100. Reservations are requested. Please call Beth McChesney at 314-251-6883 to get more information or reserve a seat. Attendees will receive a $5 gas card at end of the session.
