Mike McCurry literally grew up in supply chain. This week, the executive vice president and chief operating officer at Mercy was among eight national honorees inducted into the Bellwether League’s Hall of Fame.
The honor, essentially the Oscars of health care, recognizes McCurry for creating and developing “market-leading, multi-hospital shared service operation models in health care, even serving as a hospital CEO and IT executive along the way.”
McCurry, a co-founder of ROi, Mercy’s supply chain division, has served many roles in his 27-year tenure with the hospital system.
“I am deeply humbled to be recognized,” McCurry told Bellwether League. “My father helped create a family business focused on supply of automotive products to retailers. I have always been fascinated by the importance, strategically and operationally, that a good supply chain provides.”
McCurry’s induction comes just two years after Lynn Britton, Mercy president and CEO, received the same honor.
