Mercy Clinic is pleased to announce that Demi Nesbitt, APRN has joined Mercy Clinic Internal Medicine and Pediatrics – Dallas Street. Nesbitt will work in coordination with Margaret Cox, MD and the rest of the clinic’s care team to treat patients 18 years and older.
Nesbitt earned her Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She has worked for Mercy as an intensive care nurse since 2010. Nesbitt said she enjoys caring for patients in the River Valley and is enjoying her new role with Mercy.
“From preventative care to the treatment of common medical conditions such as diabetes and high cholesterol, I look forward to helping the people in my community get and stay healthy,” Nesbitt said. “I have worked for Mercy since my nursing career began and it is a pleasure to move into this new role and continue to serve in the place I call home.”
Nesbitt is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, Arkansas Nurses Association and American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
