EDMOND, Okla. – For Jillian Pope Marshall, Au.D., the most gratifying part of her job is helping patients hear again or hear for the first time.
Marshall is an audiologist and recently joined Mercy Clinic Ear, Nose and Throat at Edmond I-35. She said she enjoys helping patients of all ages, but became even more interested in helping pediatric patients after her nephew was born with hearing impairment.
“I am blessed to have the education and ability to help patients improve their hearing and, in return, improve their quality of life,” she said. “I enjoy getting to know my patients on a personal level so I can develop a close relationship with them and provide the most appropriate care for their hearing needs based on their lifestyle.”
Marshall received her bachelor’s degree in speech and hearing sciences from the University of Arizona in Tucson, and her doctorate of audiology degree from Arizona State University in Phoenix. She has previously worked at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and the Dallas Ear Institute.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hunting, watching football with her husband, visiting family and playing with her dog, Gracie-Lou. She and her husband recently relocated to the Oklahoma City area from Dallas.
