ARDMORE - Jerad Wagner’s passion for medicine started as a teenager, when he found himself in the patient chair.
“I was injured in high school and spent quite a bit of time with doctors and that is when I really decided I wanted to help people,” said Wagner.
Wagner is now a certified physician assistant, and recently joined Mercy Clinic Primary Care on 14th Avenue Northwest in Ardmore. He will temporarily see patients at Mercy Clinic Primary Care in Healdton until a full-time provider is hired. He says he loves to help people, adding that his main goal is to provide all patients with passionate care.
“I want to have a major life-lasting impact on my patients. I care deeply about their health, and will always do everything I can to help them.”
Wagner was born and raised in Ardmore. He received his Bachelor’s of Biological Health Sciences from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant. He went on to receive his Master’s of Health Science degree from the University of Oklahoma.
In his free time, Jerad is an active member at his church, where he teaches Sunday school. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
