In conjunction with National Heart Month, Mercy Hospital Joplin is hosting two free Breakfast in Red programs.
Start the day off right with a heart healthy breakfast provided by Mercy and learn more about cardiovascular disease from a panel of Mercy providers. The program will feature speakers including Jahan Zeb, MD; Stephen Meyer, MD; Clyde Redmond, MD; and Renae Bateman, FNP-C; who will give tips on heart health and screenings. Heart patients will share their testimonials about the importance of heart health awareness.
Both men and women are invited to attend on either Friday, February 19 or February 26 from 7 – 9 a.m. at Mercy Hospital Joplin Conference Rooms 2 and 3. Attendees are encouraged to enter through the Mercy Clinic entrance.
Register online at www.mercy.net/BreakfastInRed. All registrations received by February 17 will be entered for a chance to win a Fitbit Flex. One prize will be given away at each program and the winner must be present.
Remember to wear red to show your support for the Go Red For Women movement.
