CRYSTAL CITY, Mo. – Mercy Clinic specialist Amit Shah, MD, has been appointed to the board of directors for the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America St. Louis Chapter.
His duties and responsibilities as a member of the board of directors will be to serve as an ambassador in the community to the agency, provide financial oversight, determine and monitor the programs and services of the agency and promote the public image of the agency.
“Asthma and allergies are a significant concern for many in our community,” Dr. Shah said. “More than 60 million Americans live with asthma, food allergies and allergic diseases. I look forward to working with the foundation to benefit those in need.”
