Mercy Extending Hours to Help with Football Injuries

August 26, 2016

OKLAHOMA CITY - Football season is around the corner, and with it comes the increased risk of concussions. The "Concussion Bill" as it's known, goes into effect in Oklahoma on Nov. 1. It requires athletes with head injuries to have a doctor's note before they can compete. As Mercy's Convenient Care Clinic at Edmond I-35 extends hours on game nights to help with injuries, a  Mercy doctor is warning parents and players about symptoms of concussions.
