Dr. Kosuru’s expertise in children’s wellness – from smoking prevention to asthma to safe use of the Internet – allows him to offer a full range of primary health care services for children ages birth to 18.
“I’m very much looking forward to meeting the people of Carthage,” Dr. Kosuru said. “Caring for children is my passion. I am excited about the opportunity to partner with parents in the community to help ensure their kids grow up safe and healthy.”
Dr. Kosuru relocated to the Joplin area from Independence, Kansas. He previously was in Michigan, where he completed his pediatric residency through the Michigan State University/Sparrow Pediatric Residency program. He earned his medical degree in 2006 at Rangaraya Medical College in his home country of India before relocating to the United States for additional education.
His wife, Dr. Suhasini Rallabandi, recently completed an internal medicine residency in Michigan and has joined Mercy Joplin as a hospitalist.
