Random Acts of Kindness in Face of Loss

Alyson and Joshua Voelkerding are a loving couple with three children, one of whom left the earth too early. They graciously share their story with the hope that it will help others who might be going through similar situations. 

To honor their son Colton's memory, they asked friends and loved ones to do a random act of kindness. That request grew more than they could have imagined and turned into Kindness for Colton

Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day is Oct. 15 and was proclaimed by Ronald Reagan in October 1988 as a way to recognize the loss experienced by so many parents in the United States and around the world.
