Representative Jenkins Visits Mercy Hospital Fort Scott

Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins visited Mercy Hospital Fort Scott on Thursday, Oct. 20 to meet with area hospital CEOs and leaders about legislation that affects health care in Kansas.

Jenkins’ visit was arranged by the Kansas Hospital Association. Hospital leaders invited to the roundtable were from Kansas Hospital Association Southeast Kansas District.

Following the discussion, Jenkins toured the hospital.  A few highlights of the tour were Mercy’s Telestroke, the HydroWorx 300 underwater treadmill, and the newly installed 3D Mammogram equipment.  All three services were funded in-part or fully by the Mercy Health Foundation Fort Scott.
