Local Art Show to Benefit Mercy Stroke Program

May 3, 2017

24 Oklahoma artists, including Mercy’s Dr. Dustan Buckley, will exhibit various works including paintings, quilts, sculptures and jewelry at the Oklahoma Artists Invitational (OAI) Art Benefit May 5-7 at Northpark Mall.

Proceeds will benefit stroke treatment and prevention programs at Mercy. Last year’s show raised nearly $3,000 and to date, the OAI has given more than $13,000 to Mercy – which was recently named a top stroke center in the nation.

In addition to art, Dr. Richard V. Smith, medical director of Mercy NeuroScience Institute, will give presentations Saturday and Sunday at 2 P.M. on stroke symptoms and treatment.
