PLEASANTON, KAN. (Oct. 17, 2017) – Mercy Clinic Family Medicine Linn County is sponsoring a coat drive now through December 31.
“At our clinic, we strive to meet the needs our community in every aspect,” said Tesia Coffey, practice manager. “As winter approaches, we understand that not every person has the necessary apparel to stay warm and safe in the cold weather.
We’ve set up a coat rack in our lobby for people to leave coats if they wish to donate, and for others to take coats if needed - no questions asked, no obligations - only our community taking care of each other.”
All sizes are welcome. Please make sure all coats are clean and in good condition. Any coats remaining following the collection period will be donated to Concern in Mound City, Kansas.
The clinic, located at 11155 Tucker Road, Pleasanton, is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
