Heartwrenching stories of child abuse fill the days for therapists at Cooper-Anthony Mercy Child Advocacy Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas, a Mercy outreach ministry. However, they are able help reshape the narrative for these children and get them back on a path of survival.
Catholic Health World recently featured the work done at Cooper-Anthony focusing on a 4-year-old girl who made international headlines when her abuse was reported and she told the police her name was "idiot."
