New Midwife Joins Mercy Birthing Center Midwifery Care

February 28, 2018

The Mercy Birthing Center Midwifery Care in St. Louis continues to grow. Since opening Labor Day 2014, the center has welcomed more than 1,000 babies.

To help welcome more babies, a fourth certified nurse midwife joined the team. Samantha Eubanks is a certified nurse midwife and advanced practice registered nurse. She’s been caring for women and infants for nearly 20 years, going back to graduate school five years ago to become a midwife.

“It was clear in my interview that the people here focused on evidence-based care, physiologic birth and serving women and families,” Eubanks said. “I knew after my interview I was moving to St. Louis.’

Eubanks joined Mercy Birthing Center in January and loves it.
