TISHOMINGO, Okla. – Mercy Hospital Tishomingo has welcomed Lori McMillin as its new administrator. McMillin, an Enid, Oklahoma, native, has more than 25 years of experience in health care.
“I feel very fortunate to be a part of Mercy Tishomingo because of its progressive approach to health care,” McMillin said. “I am passionate about integrating into the community and continuing to provide high quality health care for patients in Tishomingo.”
Mercy Tishomingo is continuing to enhance care provided to the community by expanding telemedicine and outpatient services, said Lori Wightman, president of Mercy Hospital Ada.
“We believe that where you live should not determine the quality and safety of your care,” she said. “Lori is extremely qualified and will be instrumental in helping us achieve our goal to continue providing the unsurpassed care that Tishomingo and Johnston County residents deserve.”
McMillin previously served as director of the Rehabilitation Institute of St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid where she was responsible for directing a 22-bed inpatient rehabilitation program. Being an active member of the community is important to Lori, as she has served the community of Enid on various boards and organizations since 1996.
McMillin earned a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and a master’s degree in health administration from Oklahoma State University.
The hospital will hold a community wide Meet and Greet for McMillin on Thursday, April 26. Co-workers, community members and media are invited to meet McMillin at the reception 4 – 6:00 p.m. at Latte’ Da Coffee House at 406 W. Main St.
