Carnival to Celebrate Mercy Kids Another Success

July 26, 2019

Princesses, super heroes, fun and games entertained hundreds of Mercy Kids – including patients, families and children of co-workers on St. John’s Plaza at Mercy Hospital St. Louis.

Kids had fun with traditional carnival games including ring toss, cornhole, dunk tank and others, along with a photo booth, caricature artists, DJ and face painting.

Hundreds of Mercy Kids gathered on the Plaza to celebrate and enjoy the beautiful weather. Scroll through to see all the photos.

Carnival events were planned by Mercy’s teen volunteer group, Teens Learning in the Community (TLC), to celebrate the spirit of Mercy Kids. TLC combines education and service by offering high school and college-age students, 16 years and older, interested in health care careers opportunities to learn more about different options in the field. It fosters a commitment to volunteering, offers valuable insight into a variety of health care professions and experience in multiple areas of the hospital.
