wilson-jan-2020-signature-moment Stephen Mackin, Mercy Hospital St. Louis president, presents the Caught in a Signature Moment award to Amy Wilson.

Amy Wilson, care manager at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, was awarded the Caught in a Signature Moment award recently, presented to co-workers who exemplify Mercy’s best.

Wilson was nominated by a fellow care manager who said:

“Amy just came down... (it’s almost 6 p.m.). She is on her way back to Pediatrics even though her shift is over. She is going back to hold and feed a very sick baby that doesn’t want to be put down – a baby that needs extra love and attention. The baby has a new cancer diagnosis. The family has to leave – and Amy doesn’t want the baby to be alone. Honestly … I’m loss for words.”

Amy received the award and was recognized by Mercy senior leadership in a surprise ceremony with her team last week.
