Heather Chatham has joined the leadership team at Mercy Hospital Healdton as the new hospital administrator.
Chatham, a Healdton native, has spent her entire career with Mercy. She was first hired as a radiologic technologist at Mercy in Laredo, Texas, in 1997 before moving to Ardmore, Oklahoma, in 1999. She has served in many roles at Mercy Hospital Ardmore, most recently as director of imaging services, heart and vascular and the catheterization laboratory.
Chatham earned a Master of Business in Healthcare from Southern Nazarene University and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Her goal is to increase access to health care and social services in Healdton.
She describes health care as her calling in life and is thrilled to return to serve patients in the place she calls home.
“To be able to go back to my hometown and see faces of people I grew up with is so special to me,” said Chatham. “The Healdton community has supported me my whole life and this really feels like my way of being able to give back to this community I love so much.”
Chatham and her husband, Jason, met in high school in Healdton and have been married for 27 years. They have two adult children.
