In early 1956, Father Sylvester Bauer of West Plains sent a letter that served as a call for help. That call was answered by six religious Sisters who came to Mountain View on a medical mission to re-open our hospital and serve our communities.
Since that day, our legacy has been one of loyal service, a deep and abiding faith in God, hard work and a continuing hope for the future. As a non-profit organization, Mercy St. Francis Hospital depends on support from our Foundation, which helps us bring the highest quality health care for all people in our community. Contributions from employees, individuals and corporations are important sources of this support. A tax-deductible gift may go towards the purchase of new technology or facilities that can make a real difference in how we provide care.
Please call one of our representatives at any time if you would like more information about the Foundation or how you can make a difference. Together we can make a healthier future for our community!
