Mercy Intensive Early Intervention Program

The Mercy Intensive Early Intervention Program is for toddlers, 18 to 36 months old, who have been diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (pervasive developmental disorder).

The early intervention program is held four mornings a week at the Mercy Child Care Center on the campus of Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Each child receives a special, individualized treatment program, including occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, behavior analysis and nutritional guidance, designed by Mercy experts.

The program curriculum is based on principles from the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM).
