Mercy Coletta Building Capital Campaign

Mercy's Commitment to Comprehensive Cancer Care

Opening in summer 2016, the state-of-the-art building will feature the latest technologies for cancer detection and treatment, serving as a life saving resource for millions of Oklahomans. The facility’s design and the services within it were created with feedback from hundreds of patients and their family members. The Coletta Building brings together all the services and programs for cancer patients and family members in one place. Cancer care is more comprehensive and a patient's experience is enhanced in every way.

The building will include breast health and cancer care services, while also serving as an active research center helping to pioneer innovations in early detection and beyond.

The Coletta Building is named in honor of Sister Mary Coletta Massoth, who led the opening of Mercy Hospital's new headquarters at 4300 W Memorial Road 40 years ago. She was a champion for cancer patients and lost her own battle with the disease in 1983.

The Coletta Building will include two 3D mammography machines, the most advanced linear accelerator, as well as offer the following programs and services:

  • Calypso/VisionRT – new therapy modalities for Radiation Oncology
  • Cancer support groups (PUSH, Caregivers, Momentum, Promise, New Horizons)
  • Centerpoint program - ongoing series of weekly meetings designed to provide cancer survivors with education, experience, and support as they transition from completion of treatment and journey forward in their daily lives
  • Dietitian
  • Distress Screening

  • Genetics Clinical Program
  • Look Good Feel Better
  • Lymphedema Therapy

We need your support.

Mercy Health Foundation’s goal is to raise $20 million to support the design and construction of the Coletta Building. Currently, community support has reached $11 million in gifts and pledges received. Your help is needed to bring the highest level of care possible to Oklahoma City’s cancer patients and their families.

We’re proud to be part of this community. And like you, we’re committed to making it the very best it can be.

Your investment in Mercy’s Coletta Building will improve the lives of Mercy’s patients, and will help ensure that your friends and neighbors have access to the most advanced cancer detection and treatment options right here at home. You play an important role in Mercy’s mission to bring hope and the healing ministry of Jesus to all those we serve.

Your belief in Mercy’s mission will make it possible.
