Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. A skilled nurse is on call daily 24 hours.

Mercy Home Health provides compassionate care to help you live independently at home. We work as a team with your trusted physician and hospital when you have special medical needs in life. Mercy Home Health's staff consists of experienced professionals who focus on patient centered care utilizing Mercy values. We help you manage your acute, chronic or life-limiting condition through a variety of skilled, physician ordered services.  People of all ages, from babies to seniors, may qualify for Home Health services.

Mercy Home Health Skilled Nursing services

  • Perform General Assessments and observation
  • Perform Skin assessments
  • Give specialized injections such as Lovenox
  • Assist with Diabetes management
  • Teach patients and family for:
  • New diabetic
  • Wound care
  • Catheter care
  • Ostomy care
  • IV administration
  • Provide Total Parenteral Nutrition
  • Perform Trach Care and suctioning
  • Perform bowel and bladder training
  • Pulmonary rehabilitation (initiate or continue)

Mercy Home Health Physical Therapists

  • Develop and implement treatment based on your specific needs, such as, range of motion, strengthening and coordination
  • Teach you and your family rehabilitation techniques
  • Teach you how to use specialized equipment
  • Provide a home rehabilitation program and safety instruction

Mercy Home Health Occupational Therapists

  • Provide evaluation and training to enhance daily living and homemaking
  • Recommend and teach you how to use specialized equipment
  • Provide a home rehabilitation program and safety instruction

Mercy Home Health Speech Therapists

  • Evaluate a speech problem and plan specific therapy
  • Help improve your communication and swallowing skills
  • Provide a home rehabilitation program and safety instruction

Mercy Home Health Aides

  • Provide assistance with personal care such as bathing or dressing

Mercy Home Health Medical Social Workers

  • Provide counseling to you and your family about problems arising from health concerns
  • Help you and your family locate community resources for food, medications or housing
  • Assist you in completing an advance directive

Insurance Coverage

We accept Medicare, Medicaid, most private insurance plans, including VA and Worker’s Compensation.  Most insurance plans cover the cost of Home Health services.  If you have questions, please contact us.  We are happy to assist you in identifying your options.
