Advanced IBD Care in St. Louis

Mercy Clinic IBD and Gastroenterology Center - Kirkwood brings together specialized expertise, the latest treatment advances, and comprehensive support services for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) patients in Saint Louis to help address the entire spectrum of IBD. Patients with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis often face unique challenges requiring specialized expertise and a multidisciplinary approach.

Our center is specially designed to deliver personalized care to adult patients by a team of specialists (along with the support staff) who exclusively treat IBD. We are committed to providing innovative solutions with a collaborative partnership to ensure each patient can live their best life. In addition to Crohn's Disease & IBD, we also treat microscopic colitis (lymphocytic and collagenous colitis) and autoimmune enteropathy.

Why Choose Mercy IBD?

A high-quality patient experience

The Mercy IBD Center offers the services of a dedicated personalized IBD coordinator. The IBD coordinator’s primary responsibility is to help our patients navigate through the healthcare system in a more effective manner. Our coordinator is available by phone and email to answer questions, assist in scheduling, and direct patients to appropriate services.

Most advanced treatment options

Our IBD team routinely provides advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques that are not widely available everywhere. This includes CT and MR enterography, chromoendoscopy, and complicated IBD surgery.

All services under one roof

Unlike other providers, the Mercy IBD Center offers many different services at one site. Gastroenterologists, colorectal surgeons, dieticians, infusion therapy, social work, and psychotherapy share the same office, ideally providing a single location for our patients who require multiple services during a single visit.

Ongoing patient support and education

Our IBD Center provides community outreach and education programs for those involved with IBD by partnering with Crohn's Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) to raise public awareness of IBD.
