Interventional Pain Management

Interventional pain management involves injections, stimulation and heat, among other techniques, to relieve pain through medications or to “shut off” pain signals a never is sending to the brain. This might include:

  • Lumbar and cervical epidural injections
  • Spinal facet rhizotomy – highly targeted heat used to deaden a pain-causing nerve
  • Spinal facet injections
  • Spinal cord stimulation
