Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital is oneof the few rehabilitation providers in Missouri accredited by the CARF. The Mercy Hospital-based unit that opened in 1963, was the first in the  St. Louis area to achieve accreditation.

This accreditation ensures Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital’s commitment to enhance performance, manage risk and continuously improving our community.

CARF is an independent, non-profit accrediting body that recognizes health and human service providers as having met standards for quality of service that center on enhancing the lives of the persons served.
