The OB/GYN Residency Program at Mercy Hospital St. Louis offers a comprehensive academic and surgical program in a community hospital setting. The large surgical and obstetrical volume at Mercy Hospital St. Louis provides a solid curriculum for resident doctors. This is balanced with a protected academic time for lectures and conferences.
The faculty consists of talented leaders in the fields of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Pelvic and Reconstructive Surgery, Gynecologic Oncology, Reproductive Endocrinology, Genetics, as well as generalists in Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition, we have over one hundred private staff physicians, many of whom trained at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, who are committed to participate fully in the training of residents.
In today’s rapidly changing field of medicine, the residency program remains flexible in providing a continually changing curriculum, as well as the core disciplines.
