Tour de Bass set for Oct. 15

The fourth annual Mercy Tour de Bass cycling event is Saturday, Oct. 15, at Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World. The event is a part of Bass Pro Shops Outdoor Fitness Festival and provides riders with a scenic route to experience the colors of fall in the Ozarks. The ride offers routes with various distances based on level of experience.

Routes include:

  • 7:30 a.m. - 100 miles
  • 8:30 a.m. - 70 miles
  • 9:30 a.m. - 38 miles
  • 10:30 a.m. - 24 miles

On-site registration and packet pick-up for registrants is available on Friday, Oct. 14, from 11 a.m.-6 p.m., at the event tent in the Bass Pro Shop South parking lot, off of West Cherokee. Same-day registration/packet pick-up begins at 6:30 a.m. All routes will depart from the South parking lot.

St. John’s will offer free helmet fittings to all riders and will give away a number of free helmets to children. Rest stops featuring snacks and first aid will be available every 10-12 miles, and lunch will be provided at the end of the race.
