About Masood Ghouse, DO

Care Philosophy From childhood on, I was interested in the sciences. Human anatomy in particular always fascinated me. That’s what inspired me to become a physician. Our field is vast. The challenge is knowing what resources are out there and using that knowledge to individualize treatment and provide comprehensive care. That’s what our goal is at Mercy: to provide personalized care geared to the patient’s needs. When I interviewed at Mercy, I was struck by their value of leaving no patient behind. There’s a lot of truth in that approach, and I see it lived out every day here at all levels. The administration, the staff, the physicians are all dedicated to providing the best care at home to all patients, both those at home and in the hospital. We’re truly here to help in any way possible. Our goal is to provide individualized, targeted care to all our patients. And that’s an ongoing commitment.

Hello. This is his daughter. He went in there, and we had an appointment for noon, and unfortunately it was lunchtime, and we didn't see the doctor until later, and of course my dad, in his condition, luckily they had oxygen available for him. He wasn't on oxygen until just recently. I do appreciate that he apologized about being late, but it did put my dad through a lot of stress that he didn't need to go through. That's the only thing I would say is concerning. Going in at noon, not being seen, and having to leave late, 2 or 3, that's very late, especially with the driving. That's my only concern. The positive thing is that they had oxygen, they were attentive to him, and they got him an oxygen tank
