About Terah Jewel Crosson, APRN-CNP

Care Philosophy My fascination with the human body led me to a career in the medical field. Nursing felt like the right fit, allowing me to be bedside, part of a care team. In my journey, I wanted to be everything from a pediatrician to an X-ray tech, but nursing became my calling. My passion lies in being present for patients facing the fear and stress of a cancer or hematological diagnosis. I aim to educate, support through surgeries, labs, and treatments, and guide them into survivorship. I want patients to know I'm here, ready to discuss any concerns, and an integral part of their support team. In the challenging times of life-limiting illness, my focus is on enhancing their quality of life and providing unwavering support.

Mercy is too busy!! Need to hire more people. My appointment was supposed to be at 9 this morning but found out after I got there it was at 10. I checked in at 10 and was taken back at about 10:10. Then the nurse did all the procedural checks. I had an appointment with my dermatologist at 11:45. After the nurse finished and told me the doc would be there in a few minutes I waited and waited. At about 11 I opened the door and found someone in the hall to check for me. ( in the meantime I called my dermatologist's office to let them know I may be late. ) the guy that checked for me came back and told me someone would be there soon. 5 minutes later they showed up and went through the test results with me, then a short exam. I did make my dermatologist appointment on time but barely. Last year I was late by 16 minutes to an appointment at Mercy and they said I would have to reschedule. Today Mercy got my appointment at the wrong time and were about 35 minutes late. THE BIGGER MERCY GETS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUFFERS. GET SOME MORE HELP!!!
