Mercy Health Foundation Oklahoma City hosted its annual gala on Friday, Jan. 17, at National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. The event’s presenting sponsor was Jose Freede. With more than 600 guests in attendance, nearly $586,300 was raised.
The event supported women’s and children’s services at Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City. The “fund a need” gala raised money to purchase new warmers and baby bassinets for infants that will be used in the hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit and baby nursery.
“Nearly 4,000 babies are born every year at Mercy and thanks to the incredible sponsors and donors, we will be able to enhance the care our clinicians provide for these precious lives every day,” said Lori Cummins, vice president of development for Mercy Health Foundation
The event kicked off with a reception and silent auction followed by a seated dinner. Guests also enjoyed a live concert by American Idol finalist and rising recording star Gabby Barrett. The concert was sponsored by The Perinatal Center and Oklahoma Laborists and Women’s Services.
Guests continued the celebration with an after party featuring DJ Kirby, sponsored by Flintco.
Thank you to the many sponsors and donors who made this event such a huge success.
