Mercy Senior VP of Strategic Integration
Dave Thompson serves as Mercy’s senior vice president of population health and president of contracted revenue. He joined Mercy in 2020 and has helped design many of Mercy’s current value-based contracts with their powerful combination of quality, safety and reduced cost for payers, and most importantly, Mercy patients. He now leads primary care and population health helping simultaneously transform the care model and payment model to meet consumer needs.
Prior to joining Mercy, he worked for 20 years in various senior level financial and operational roles within the health care industry including primary care, population health, health system and health plan payer sectors.
Education and Credentials
Thompson holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting with an emphasis in management and accounting information systems from Oklahoma State University.
