About Clay Thomas Reed, MD

Care Philosophy I’ve been blessed to train at several of the top institutions across the country including the Mayo Clinic, the National Cancer Institute, and Johns Hopkins. I’m delighted to bring back the knowledge I’ve learned from world experts to my home state. I want my patients to know that I am passionate about individualized patient care and there is no one-size-fits-all in oncology. Sometimes we must think outside the box to help decide what the best options are for each individual patient. My job is to present what those options are, and then help each patient decide what is the right fit for them. Witnessing my patients’ strength, resilience, and seeing them overcome such challenging situations is what fuels me to want to provide the best patient care possible.

        I had read glowing reviews about Dr Reed and after meeting him yesterday, I was not disappointed. He has impressive creditionals , but is not intimidating in the least. He explained everything in detail and outlined my treatment plan. I'm so glad he will be directing my care.
